I don't know when it began really. Maybe it was just yesterday when I eyed a copy of Zest in WH Smiths which promised to make me lose 14 pounds in my local park, or maybe it was two weeks ago when after a week at my parents I realised my tummy was back, the nurse who said I was 4 kilos heavier than I thought I was or perhaps it goes as far back as my body post-hip injury, this time last year. What ever it was, I was hit by a shock determination to start getting my fitness levels back today.
My last jogging regime had been hampered by a lack of sports bra and time, so in I trotted to town determined to set my chest right. £20 later I have the modern equivalent of a viking breast plate to my name.
Time? Well I have shockingly decided to start this in the middle of exam season. Shocking because this is when I normally put weight on, and shocking because of the depths to which I will sink to avoid revision.
Here I am an hour later, 2 sets of circuits done (should have done 3), 12 minutes of yoga done as a 'treat' (should have done 15) and thighs aching like a bitch. Its got to be uphill from here.
So, here's the plan: 3 of Zest's circuits per week and 3 40 minute jogs per week.
Here are my one month aims:
2 inches of my waist currently 33 inches)
Jogging for 30 minutes without losing breath
Being able to go for a run with boyfriend
Any tips?
